2013년 6월 런던 카도건 홀에서 녹음된 가디너의 최신보. 부활절 오라토리오는 바흐가 라이프치히 시절인 1725년에 부활절을 위한 칸타타로 처음 작곡된 작품이었으나, 1735년 개작을 거친 뒤에 오라토리오라는 타이틀이 붙여졌다. 낭송 파트 없이 4명의 솔리스트가 베드로, 요한, 막달라 마리아, 마리아 글로바를 각각 노래하며, 혼성 4부합창이 덧붙는다. 뮐하우젠 시대에 작곡한 '애도 행사'(actus tragicus)를 위한 칸타타인 BWV106 '하나님의 세상이 최상의 세상이로다'가 함께 수록되었다.
